The only good day was yesterday
Today was a bad day. We got a notice early on that Relentless Energy UK cut our bike team. We spent the day loading up all of the bikes and race related stuff into a container for the UK. They didn’t say anything about our jobs. But we can only hope to come in Monday to a job. I hope we do, but we ended yesterday on such a high. The mayor came by with city council. Did a press op and hopped on one of the race bikes for a dyno pass. He had a great time, we had a great time. But it was heartbreaking to have today happen on such a good note. I’m going back to snuggling up with the wife. Maybe she can help this all go away.
Late night session
My Dad just dropped me an email, he said the GTR is on it’s way to me. Which is good, because parts are slowly starting to pile up. I just need it to be tuned, since tuning isn’t something I do. But I’m really excited, the kit is almost here too. It’s in Las Vegas right now and is getting shipped over to me sometime this week. I have a few other carbon fiber bits coming from California. I’m also in touch with a carbon fiber company about a few other pieces for the car. I saw the Mine’s GTR first hand in Tokyo, and it pretty much inspired me.
