One thing I have noticed lately, and it’s a growing trend. Something that really annoys me.

This rant goes to the people who wear Puma’s motorsports division of shoes, and have NO idea what they’re wearing. Seriously? You complain about how there’s no side support while standing. Umm.. When people wear them, they’re usually not standing. They’re in a car, doing some footwork, and they need the feeling for driving techniques. It started today when the wife and I were in Starbucks. She had on her cute little pink and white Puma SpeedCats and I had on my black and white DriftCats. This girl comes in, “Oh how cute is that!? We’re wearing the same shoes!”, my wife puts her face down in her palm. My wife talks about how she’s driven my Benz in them or taken the Supra out in them. What has this girl done? Drove her Expidition to go shopping. She’s never heard of most driving series, or even has a car to wear them in. I sighed and walked away to let them talk.

Untitled Rant

I really couldn’t think of a title for this blog, because I am utterly perplexed about the issue of it. Today on one of the boards I frequent. I noticed that Pharrell’s Ferrari Enzo is for sale. It’s up for a nice price of $950k. Which is about 500k below usual Enzo pricing. That’s not what I was blown away about. When you do a vehicle history report on the car, it comes up with a statement saying there is a loan or lien on the car. Still? He purchased the car in 2003, and six years later you still haven’t paid it off? I mean if you can afford to pick up another Enzo, you can more so afford to pay off your first. Now I can understand one thing about the car. It had a million dollar price tag. I will fully understand if you put 200k or 300k down on it, then you were making payments. But at Pharrell’s level. That could have been paid off in a year. What the fuck man!?!?!

You certainly have more smarts than 50 Cent. If you guys don’t remember, 50 Cent rented Ferraris for a Cribs episode and claimed they were his. But it was later aired out that he RENTED them. This leads into more of the rant. Why do most hip hop guys flaunt their RENTED cars? I mean sure you have some that legitimately own these cars. But why? Is it better for your wallet? You may think so, but prices add up in the long run. What does this mean? If you pick up a car and get a loan. And if you have the cash, pay it off ASAP, no fronts on that.

Grocery Store Etiquette

I am still kind of pissed about this, so if I get a little crazy, you guys know why.

Let’s start with parking, this is somewhat convoluted for some people. If I find a spot, I leave enough room for someone to go by me while I wait. Please don’t pull up behind me and wait if I have given you enough room to pass. Don’t try to get me to move either. I’m not going to move since I found a spot, I don’t care how long you’ve been there. It’s my luck that I came upon this person leaving. Don’t hate me because I got lucky. That point wasn’t in your favor, move on, have a better day. Don’t stop and wait for me to get out to shout “Fuck you!” or give me the finger. I’ll just make it worse by yelling “I win!” And walk inside while you continue to search. There is also another side to this street. If you find a spot, you should leave room for people to go by. It’s only common courtesy and it’s a generally nice thing to do.

Now onto the shopping part. If you’re at the deli and you pick a number, and it’s 51 and they’re on 48. You walk away and do you’re shopping. You come back and they’re on 58. Do NOT complain that you weren’t there when your number was called. You walked away, pick another number, and get in line. It’s pretty embarrassing to your children or family members that you’re mouthing off about a number. You have no idea how much that pisses other people off who WERE patient enough to wait around for their number to be called.

This one is quick, if you don’t notice, you push your cart the exact way you drive. So please be courteous and keep to one side like a street. Don’t go up the middle unless you’re passing. Don’t leave your cart un-attended. Because someone like me who wants the object behind your cart will have no problem moving it. So I can have my object.

My final beef with grocery store etiquette. It’s checking out. Please if you’re in the ten items or fewer line, please have up to thirteen. Thirteen is a reasonable number. You could “mis-count” and still be okay. But please don’t show up with twenty items and pretend it’s okay. Those lines are for people who are in express mode. I don’t have time to sit in line while you unload your cart when I have ice cream melting in my hands. Thanks asshole, I can’t go home and enjoy it, because I have to have it re-frozen. Now the last problem I have. When you’re done loading up your groceries. PUT THE FUCKING DIVIDER DOWN FOR THE PERSON BEHIND YOU. I do it because it’s polite and I absolutely HATE when people lean over my food. So it’s simple like that. If I have to lean over your food, it is now your fault because you’re a worthless human being with no sense of being nice to your fellow person.

That last point is directed to the gentlemen who stared down my wife and I today while we were checking out. Listen asshole, if my wife wasn’t standing there. I wouldn’t have been so calm, I’d have made sure that people would have know how much a colossal douche bag you are. I hope you enjoyed your wheat thins and cream cheese.

10 best tracks?

leave a comment »

Really Super Street Bike? You claim to have found the ten best tracks in the world? What really makes it so that you can define the ten best tracks in the world? Just for reference, let’s see the ten they picked.

1. Laguna Seca.

2. Brands Hatch.

3. TT Course (Isle of Mann).

4. Donnington.

5. Phillip Island.

6. Mugello.

7. Sepang.

8. Suzuka.

9. Catalunya.

10. Kyalami.

Well, they picked some great tracks, but really? You pick all of these tracks, but you leave out good ones like Barber Motorsports Park, VIR, and for god’s sake Indy’s road course!? Of course Sepang, Laguna Seca, and Mugello are on there. Suzuka is a crazy technical circuit. But you leave out tracks with history. Like the Nurburgring and Spa. Don’t forget about Tsukuba. SSB looks like they picked out a rag tag circuit for an upcoming new league. There are tons of tracks you can put on a list of ten best. It’s mainly opinion, but this still doesn’t give you the right to be able to. I can’t believe I left our Monza or even Interllagos! What the hell!

SSB doesn’t have the history behind itself to pick out the ten best tracks. But now that I think about it they picked these ten tracks because a majority of their readers are sheep. Sheep as in they can group them together, get them to follow one direction, in unison. So soon enough you’ll have the group of readers saying facts about their ten picks. Good job guys, while the sheep are buying this current issue. Make sure they pick up Biker Boys and Torque. Which is ironic, how much torque do most bikes have?

I am allowed to make these opinions, due to the fact I ride and have been for some time.

Yesterday, just wow

leave a comment »

First off, I don’t blame Benz nor do I blame the shop I bought my CLK63 Black Series from. I walked into Benz yesterday, without the wife, because I thought this would be real quick. Well, that wasn’t the case actually. I dropped the CLK off for a service that Benz notified me of. Which is why my problems struck me odd. It turns out the CLK had no warranty on it. Due to it being sold a few times before I took ownership of it. Which I never knew and the shop never knew. I’m keeping them anonymous so people don’t get the wrong intentions.

They had no idea either, but after them coming in to the dealer and myself talking it over with the dealer manager. They decided to re-instate the warranty due to the situation. At one point I was ready to walk out and sell my car. That’s how frustrating it was to me. Well, the Benz got serviced, I got some free Benz stuff, and it was just a long day. I spent all day at the dealer, then I went home and just laid with my wife.

Hybrid rant

leave a comment »

I was just watching an episode of MTV’s Cribs and a certain actress just made the comment “I want to be as green as possible. I want to do anything to help the environment.” Really? I mean… Really? Hybrids HARM the environment in the big picture. I mean sure 40 or 50 MPG is awesome. But when those cars are past their prime, what are you going to do about the batteries? You have to dispose of them PROPERLY. Another point is making them, all the processes that go into making them is pretty bad for the environment as well.

I forget which company did it, but they proved that a Hummer H2 does less damage from beginning to end than a Hybrid does.

Oh, and to anyone who wants to argue this point, I don’t want to hear it. People who drive Hybrids are smug assholes who enjoy the smell of their own farts.

Rant!

If you’re pregnant TELL YOUR MAN THAT YOU ARE.

Do NOT become another unfit single mother who is on welfare because she was worried about what her SO would think. The truth always wins. Don’t say you’re sick or blame it on something else. You’re pregnant, tell him, and be truthful. That’s how it works. Sure you may break up, that’s a possibility. But there’s a big chance he’ll be a man and get back with you. But if you lay and wait until he moves to other end of the country. Then tell him. You’ll end up at the bottom of the stairs. TRUTH ALWAYS WINS!

Oh, Laline and I aren’t expecting, don’t get that idea. We’re waiting until we graduate college.
