I was originally going to talk about how the work Top Secret does inspires me to do radical things for my cars. But I was forwarded this today from our rep in Germany. I’m kind of letting a cat out of the bag, but I’m kind of not. I hope people remember what I said in this post. I just have to say, it’s amazing to see a company still being innovative after being in the market for years. Akrapovic makes serious motorcycle exhaust systems. Recently they stepped up their game and made exhausts for the 997 GT3, GT3RS, and the E92 M3. But this email gave me a serious “Game over!” reaction. My Father has been thinking about building one of these lately and I think he should after I sent this video to him.
The wife and I spent the better part of yesterday and this morning getting down to Florida with our pups and Supra in tow. We are currently in Saint Augustine, Florida at the Summer place my family has. There was a little traffic, but the worst part was getting through Jacksonville. Traffic was stopped on all roads. It was a nightmare, the puppies and wife were anxious. I was really anxious. But we finally made it around 5am. We just woke up for some lunch, cooked by the wife. I’m going to work on the Supra a little and get it ready for Florida. Adjust the suspension settings a little and dial it in for the Florida weather. Since we’re a tad bit higher up in Virginia, than sea level here in Florida. By sea level, I mean zero feet above. The beach is right at our backs.
She’s calling me to go lay on the beach with her, so I’m going to head out there and spend some time with her. Finals were this week and I was busy at work. I hardly saw her and I want to spend a lot of time with her.
Ford GT – 56k miles.
Yes, my Dad drives the shit out of his FGT. Right now all the mods it has are those wheels and a hardwired Valentine1.
F430 Scuderia – 5k miles.
He has had it for a little bit. No real mods but a clear bra on the front. Crazy optioned interior, gold wheels, and ceramic brakes.
Gallardo NERA – 12k miles.
This is his favorite car. Heffner Twin Turbo kit, ADV1 wheels, hardwired Valentine1 radar detector, and a radar jammer.
My Dad has a very eclectic collection, and these are only half the cars he keeps at the house. There’s two more in storage I will feature later. But I will make sure I feature them all soon. I have driven them all, and I’m trying to convince him to TT the FGT. He wants to keep the Scuderia minty fresh, as the car is already hardcore.
